Russian Colour Theory & Paint Making with Lucy Mayes

Lucy gave a talk about Russian painter and art theorist Wassily Kandinsky at Pushkin House. Kandinsky was influenced by his interest in the tradition of Russian Orthodox ikon painting especially by Andrei Rublev who's life was shrouded in mystery and was said to have lived around the time 1360 – early 15th century. Kandinsky taught during the Bauhaus.
