The Amber Room at The Round House

A selection of London Pigments exhibited by artist Rosie Reed for her curatorial project The Amber Room.

The Amber Room is curated by Rosie Reed and cooked by Tara Guinness. The original ‘Amber Room’ is one of the largest missing treasure trove mysteries in history. It was dismantled and eventually disappeared during World War II. We have created our own Amber Room, a delectable haven of food and art for people to enjoy. Tara Guinness designed and cooked a five course dinner made up of seasonal British ingredients, paired with wine and inspired by the process of discovering treasure. All of the art that adorned the walls and the table, from the napkins, crockery and glasses to the paintings and sculptures were made by over forty artists and available to buy.
