Waste Stream Colours Ink Set

These pigmented watercolour inks are made with reclaimed pigments and gum Arabic as the binding medium. Experience the unique qualities of pigments made from local construction waste. 

Each pigment featured in the range is produced through low-impact, electricity-free methods that rely on slow, manual processes to ensure minimal environmental impact. The raw materials for the pigments that are used in this ink set have been carefully processed to remove impurities to produce brighter, artist's quality colours.

Shake or thoroughly stir before use.

The set includes:

1 x Red Brick 10 ml

1 x Yellow Brick 10 ml

1 x Brown Brick 10 ml

1 x Blue Slate 10 ml

Colour chart not included- this can be purchased separately 

Ingredients: Water, pigment, gum Arabic, cloves. (vegan)

This product contains no synthetic antibacterial or antifungal additives.

The colour behaviour of these inks reflects the pigment properties outlined for each of the colours in the Waste Stream Colour Collection (see individual listings for more info).

Directions: Shake or stir the inks thoroughly to evenly suspend the pigment.

Applications: Suitable for brush painting and for use with a calligraphy dip pen.

Tips: Shaking the bottle briefly will lift the finest particles into suspension while allowing heavier pigments to settle. This creates a more transparent ink. Mix thorougly for a thicker, more opaque covering.

Colour Variation

Please note that due to the natural variability of the raw materials used to create our pigments, subtle shifts in tone may occur. These slight variations are expected and reflect the uniqueness and authenticity of each batch.

Safety Note

When working with dry, dusty materials, it is important to take appropriate precautions against airborne particulates. Always wear a quality dust mask or respirator when handling pigments. Do not apply pigments topically or ingest them under any circumstances.
